Documentary about Mai van Oers

Short film about the work of Mai van Oers, on the occasion of her exhibition for Fries Museum. Her drawings transport viewers to a world that is seemingly impossible, where life and death are intertwined and where Van Oers plays with light, order, perspective, infinity and spatiality. The exhibition also includes some of her landscape paintings. The light shining through the greens and browns of her distillations of nature bring the small paintings to life
