During the second edition of Art Island, we will show an installation by Isa van Lier. The artist has a fascination with eggs and islands. She has previously made an egg-shaped temple, now she is creating a temple on an island. In one of the fort's dark rooms, her white pedestals form a special contrast with the drab curved walls. In the installation, she plays with light and the shadows that her wonderful sculptures create.
This unique fair takes place on Het Forteiland, off the coast of IJmuiden, on May 26 - 28. Book your tickets through this link. Be quick, there is limited availability!
About the artist
Isa van Lier (Amsterdam, 1996) makes ceramic sculptures, installations, paintings and drawings. Her work conveys an all-encompassing idea of softness and playfulness.
